ABOUT:
olive dear is a collection of works by Sydney artist Linda Kruger. Linda’s work covers a range of styles and media, and is influenced by a background in printmaking (etching), as well as textile printing and design. Many of the images incorporate digital elements, yet still retain an emphasis on texture, and the mark of the hand. Linda’s work is also influenced by her background as a digital media producer. Just one captured gesture or frame can contain so much of the story around it. Linda’s work has been exhibited and sold internationally.
GICLÉE PRINTS:
All olive dear giclée prints (fine art digital prints) are archive quality, and made to last a lifetime. They are printed onto the finest acid-free art papers with rich, pigment-based inks (see illustration, and photography sections).
GOCCO PRINTS:
Gocco is a hand printing method developed in Japan. In gocco printing, a thermally imprinted screen is used to print an edition of images. The hand-made nature of the process is evident in the beautiful imperfections and textures on each individual print. Olive dear makes a small range of limited edition gocco prints (see limited edition prints section).
